Project Manager

Position Details

SUMMARY OF POSITION

While embracing HouseRight values, your primary objective is to serve the Church. Your role is to plan and execute projects, communicating externally and internally to a broad cross-functional team. Success in this position is achieved through proactive communication, effective team leadership, insightful design oversight, and organized project management – all while maintaining a commitment to budget and schedule. The ideal team member will be relational, driven, and detail-oriented, able to solve open-ended problems, and have an extensive background in ministry with leadership and technical production experience. This position is located in Lexington, KY.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Communicate consistently and lead your fellow project teammates through a defined project lifecycle, delivering on all defined milestones.
  • Setup and manage tasks and activities within the project plan framework for design, purchasing, installation, training, and support using standardProject Management practices
  • Actively manage projects as they are installed either remotely or while onsite
  • Lead our team’s weekend efforts to train and support a Church’s Grand Opening (or first event) with the new systems
  • Consistently audit project performance to ensure we hit our defined objectives and drive for continuous improvement – both for yourself and forthe team around you

OTHER DUTIES

  • We “Run to the smoke” when gaps are recognized or if a team member needs help.
  • Everyone has a responsibility to live into the HouseRight values of Flexibility, Integrity, Commitment, Respect, Care, and Humility
  • Managing other duties as assigned

SKILLS AND TRAITS
Ideal candidates will possess the following skills/experiences:

  • You have to be awesome – Fun loving, driven, enjoyable, relational, humble…
  • 7+ years in ministry with experience in church leadership, leading Production teams, and having experienced being a part of building projects
  • Experienced and able to set up, configure, operate, and train on most production tools
  • A personal desire to see The Church win

  • Possess a high degree of personal integrity – You instinctively want to do and say the right thing, even if it costs us something…
  • Highly organized, superior emotional intelligence, well-spoken, and confident
  • Be a strong team player, aware of the process, and able to set others up for success even if at a personal cost
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

TIME, LOCATION, COMPENSATION

  • This position is a full-time salaried role with benefits located in Lexington, KY
  • Consistent travel, nights and weekends is expected (Project Managers can expect to travel on average 8-12 days each month)
